Genome2D Core RefSeq
Many Genome2D routines use the Genome2D database, which is a mirror of all RefSeq NCBI complete bacterial (prokaryote) genomes.
Furthermore, all genomes are processed by the Genome2D server to create functional classification, intergenic regions, promoter sequences, transcriptional terminators, codon usage and more.
IMPORTANT NOTE: NCBI changed to the RefSeq system end 2014, and changed the Locus-tag names of most genomes. Use the Genome2D conversion tool to change between old- and new locus-tags or select the genome from the old database, if available
